Florian Baufreton has been working in Aviation Finance at BNPP in Paris since 2016. In his current position of Vice President, he focuses on transactions execution for airlines and aircraft lessors (whether unsecured/aircraft secured, recourse/non-recourse), negotiating legal documentation with clients and their legal counsels, and covers ESG topics for the sector. As part of his coverage role, he also assists senior bankers in pursuing cross-sell initiatives that include ABS, USPP, bonds and rights issuances, IPO, etc.

In his previous role with BNPP, he served as credit analyst in the Shipping & Offshore Finance team. Florian was responsible for covering ship owners, analyzing their operational/financial performance and preparing credit proposals for new deals.

Before joining BNPP in 2014, Florian held an Analyst position within the Trade & Commodity Finance team at Societe Generale in NYC, where he was focusing on providing various debt facilities for clients in the energy and natural resources sector.

Florian holds a Master in Management and a Master of Science in strategy from EDHEC Business School in France.
