Richard has over 25 years of global financial leadership experience in investment banking organisations. He was most recently Global Head of Transportation Finance at Deutsche Bank (DB) covering aviation, shipping and rail and prior to that was Co-Head of the Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy Financing business for EMEA/Americas across core and core+ sectors. Richard was a member of DB’s Global Credit Financing Solutions Management Committee and Chairman of the Global Transportation Investment Committee overseeing principal investments in these sectors. Richard also represented DB on the Aviation Working Group (AWG) and has a particular focus on sustainability and decarbonisation issues in Transportation. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences and is often contacted by the media for market views. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Richard was with RBC Capital Markets in London where he was Head of Aviation and Transportation within its Global Debt Finance business. Richard read Business Studies for his undergraduate degree before completing a master’s in International business and Economics from the University of Reading.
